Is Health License The Only Reason Behind The Hutting Of 43 Mcdonald Outlets?

Thursday newspaper came with a shock to the north Indians with the news about its favourite fast food chain shutting down 43 out of its 53 outlets. The news came out after some disagreements in CPRL i.e. the Connaught Plaza Restaurants, the joint venture of the US- headquarters McDonald’s and Vikram Bakshi that operates the fast food chain in north and east India. CPRL currently operates 168 restaurants, its former managing director said that it is really unfortunate that operations of 43 restaurants had to be suspended. According to Nirmal Singh Lotus Greens’ sources, the closing is done due to the failure to get the mandatory regulatory health licenses renewed because of the rift between Bakshi and McDonald’s. Debt is one of the primary reasons of more than half of all suicides around the country if the recent studies and research are to be believed. Since 2012, the number of loans that farmers have taken to invest in their farming lands has come down to half and during the same period, additional loans to meet financial and health issues by the farmers have doubled. 65 million farmers who have land holdings of one hectare are spending more than they earn according to the reports of NSSO. And farmers who own more than 10 hectares of land are maintaining a healthy surplus every month. India's Next President: Election Commission To Announce Election Date Today

With the President’s term ending on July 25 the EC announced the date for next month's Presidential election. Chief Election Commissioner Naseem Zaidi made the announcement today with two other Election Commissioners at a press conference in New Delhi. A presidential election will be held in India on 17 July 2017, and counting will be done on 20 July 2017, five days before the incumbent of current President's term expires. Although, President Pranab Mukherjee is eligible for re-election, as no term limits exist in India. Nirmal Singh Lotus Green talks about the upcoming presidential elections.
