Now You Can Pay Toll Tax Through Official Mobile Apps - Nirmal Singh Lotus Green
Highway Authority of India has revealed that two new mobile apps will be released to make paying taxes on highways easier for the people. FASTag, a reloadable tag, will be put on the windscreen of the vehicles. These tags will work on the RFID [radio frequency identification technology] – the tags will be linked to a single prepaid account from which the tax will be deducted automatically – the cars wouldn’t have to stop at toll booths. This step has been taken to minimize the cash transactions on the booths. On Thursday, The National Highways Authority of India came out with two new mobile apps to facilitate the availability of the tags for toll tax payments. - Nirmal Singh Lotus Green The authorities are working to make the highways and toll booths Tag friendly.
