We do not have to switch on the television for that; we have everything right in our ‘smartphones’. And when we decide to watch the movies, songs and previews of the upcoming movies, all we can see are the designer brands, foreign locations and our very own Deepikas and Kareenas drenched from head to toe in the western culture. Why is this? Is it necessary? Are we really that insecure about our own culture and heritage that we cannot show that on reel? Or are we too scared to paint a false picture of India...
