Patent Applications Become Easier, Government Launches The System For E-Patent Certificates

Working hard towards achieving the goal of digital India, government has taken yet another step closer to its dream. According to Nirmal Singh Lotus Green , in order to eliminate the unnecessary delays in the work, and to make the issuing of patents hassle-free, the government has issued the system for filing applications for e-patent certificates. In a written copy presented at Lok Sabha on Monday, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave an idea about how the new procedure for patents would work. The grant for the e-patent was generated after the public copy of the same was issued on 3 rd July, 2017.
