Following the meeting of the GST council, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has come up with various relief ideas for the people. The major one being the allowance to file tax returns once a quarter instead of filing them every month. This one step will help businessmen, especially the small businessmen. According to Nirmal Singh Lotus Green , in order to eliminate the unnecessary delays in the work, and to make the issuing of patents hassle-free, the government has issued the system for filing applications for e-patent certificates. In a written copy presented at Lok Sabha on Monday, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave an idea about how the new procedure for patents would work.
