When Jio was launched into the market, it changed the way telecom sector had been operating massively. Reliance still continues to effect the market in a drastic way and the jio reforms and plans are a bonus people are getting out of it. Nirmal Singh Lotus Green shares with us that in a board meeting held last week, the company had shared their idea of revamping the countries network situation and their will to make our Prime Ministers wish for making India digital come true. Understanding the fact that India still has the most middle class people, reliance is offering not only date packages and plans that are suitable for most people but also cheap and affordable phones that support the 4G network.

“But no matter how great the 4G services are, the reliances policy has affected the telecom sector in equally negative way,” says Nirmal Singh Lotus Green. The other network operators in the country are suffering major losses and are losing even their existing consumers to the jio networks. In order to face the competition and to prevent the situation to turn as ugly as to reach the stage of monopoly in the market the other networks did reduce their packages but still could not convince their buyers to choose them over jio.
Seeing the situation slip completely out of their hands, Airtel is all set to be back in the game, giving tough competition to Jio. Nirmal Singh Lotus Green says that it is exciting to see Airtel coming out with two new plans, one plan offers 84GB for ₹293 to its pre-paid customers. Another plan is also for its pre- paid customers where the customers will get 84GB 4G data along with unlimited STD and local calls to all  numbers.

The first plan is cheaper, offers the same date but does not allow you to make free calls, they are still restricted for only airtel numbers. The plan is in tough competition to the plans that Jio is offering. Although there is one disadvantage of the plan, it is only for the new users. That means, the existing users will not get any benefit out of the new plans.

Nirmal Singh Lotus Green says that such restrictions during though competition might not prove very beneficial for the company. But still it will be great to see how the existing customers react to it and if Airtel can win over the Jio customers and attract them towards itself.

Meanwhile, Jio continues to work on its packs and phone prices, and still maintain its title of the fastest netwok
