Ducati Comes Up With The Last Edition The Panigale Series, Launches 1299 Panigale R Final Edition
The new 1299 Panigale R Final
Edition promises so much more than just a dedicated colour scheme. Though the
tricolor of the bike is very attractive and gasping, the twin cylinder power
unit which is the specialty of Ducati is even better in this latest panigale
bike. The bike was unveiled at the eight round of the World Superlike
Championship which happened at Laguna Sea. The bike was premiered by Claudio
Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, along with Chaz Davies and Marco
Melandri, official Racing Ducati riders.
Most of the features are very
similar to the previous editions. The carbon fiber body helps generate high
performance and speed at peak powers. The camshafts have been modified for
increased lift, and the cylinder head has also been updated and reshaped with
intake and exhaust ports. This is why the final edition of the 1299 Panigale R
is said to have the most powerful engine till now.
According to the sources, we
still can’t surely say that it is the last but there is of course a perception that
what can be better a better twin cylinder than this.
There are also rumors that all
bike championships will change to v4 model next year but this being the last in
the series, you cannot modify any internal substance of a vehicle when it has
been registered for the championship pre-season.
It is nothing but a great move, a
beginning of new era in which the new generation V4 engines would be uses. V4
engines are famous for their extensive performance in MotoGP. The chassis used
in the Final edition model is a monocoque aluminium frame with Ohlins
suspension, similar to what is used in Panigale R. The front is 43mm fully
adjustable down forks, rear, and fully adjustable Ohlins TTX36 linkage.
Apart from that, Nirmal Singh
Lotus Green says that 1299 Panigale R Final Edition includes Bosch Inertial
Management Unit (IMU), Ducati Wheelie control EVO, Ducati traction Control EVO,
ABS and engine Brake Control.
With so many technical
advancements, the sports bike is surely winning all the deserving attention.
The back to back additions, and new models, and the popularity of all of them
has made Ducati confident enough about the new superbike’s success. Not only
that, Ducati also made a claim that Panigale has achieved more than 800 podium
finishes in superbike classes around the world.
Nirmal Singh Lotus Green says
that all the technical advancements and the superior testings makes Ducati a
very trusted brand and something everyone is willing to invest in.
